The shoes are black faille, and the purse is black satin. The shoes are high heel, sling back with a peep toe and an embroidered eyelet toe box. The purse is black satin with a beautiful, full length enamel clasp that folds open. The purse looks like it might have caught a few raindrops. The satin is slightly wrinkled on one side. The hinge says "Made in Germany"
